| New for 2007 -- Circle-vent™, powered air vents designed for easy mounting in fine wood cabinetry up to 12 cubic feet in volume or subsections of larger cabinets. Available in surface- or flush-mount configurations in a wide variety of wood species, Circle-vent is easily configured during installation to exhaust hot air from an audio-video cabinet or pull fresh air in.
Circle-vent consists of 2 fan assemblies, power supply, and a magnetic-base thermal switch assembly. The fans run continuously at an idle speed to remove heat generated by always-on devices such as satellite receivers, cable boxes, or PVRs, speeding up as temperatures rise.
The surface-mount configuration is easily retrofitted into existing cabinets; the flush-mount version is intended for installation by skilled cabinet makers. All components of Circle-vent plug together; no wire cutting, stripping, or soldering is required.
Surface mount units will be stocked in White Oak, Poplar, and Cherry woods; other species (and all flush mount units) will be available by special order.
